The session will also consider how to evaluate and fund these models, balancing long-term benefits with short-term budget and implementation

Preventive medicine

This session explores the implementation of preventive medicine service models in Estonia, with a focus on breast cancer prevention, as well as models for prostate cancer and cardiovascular diseases. The discussion will address challenges around the transition towards risk-based prevention. The session also highlights Estonia’s testbed potential, demonstrating how a small market can enable faster adoption of innovative preventive healthcare models.
